Meet Our Doctor
Dr. Pooja Patel, OD
Dr. Pooja Patel earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of the Incarnate Word Rosenberg School of Optometry (UIW RSO) in 2021. She is passionate about delivering exceptional, patient-centered eye care and is committed to helping patients achieve and maintain lifelong visual health.
In addition to caring for patients, Dr. Patel is dedicated to advancing the optometry profession. She is a graduate of the AOA Leadership Institute and currently serves as the Young OD Chair, where she supports and mentors the next generation of optometrists.
Outside the office, Dr. Patel enjoys practicing Pilates, reading, and spending time with family and friends. She believes that maintaining a healthy work-life balance allows her to bring energy, compassion, and focus to both her patients and her community.

Dr. Patel's goal was to build a trusted eye care practice that combines exceptional clinical expertise with meaningful, long-term patient relationships.
The name BOB Eyecare holds special significance for Dr. Patel and her husband. The practice was named in honor of her father-in-law, whose generosity, kindness, integrity, and unwavering support have been a lasting source of inspiration. By naming the practice after him, they sought to celebrate the values he represents—compassion, dedication, and a deep commitment to family.
These principles form the foundation of BOB Eyecare and continue to guide the care and experience provided to every patient who walks through the door.
